Are they good for the compost or do you get too many grass seeds?

I heard that if you drown the clippings in water the grass seed will rot and then you don't have to worry about it. What's everyone else thing? Moderators are slipping.... Very Happy

If you mow frequently so that the grass does not go to seed, they yes, it's good for the compost....
